Kokura Izutsuya

Founded in 1935 in Kokura in Kitakyushu City of Fukuoka Prefecture. The only department store in Kitakyushu City with a long history of working closely with the local region.
From walkways connecting the main and new buildings, visitors can enjoy the view of Murasaki River flowing through the center of the city and the beautiful Kokura Castle, the symbol of Kitakyushu.

Tax-Free

Shop for clothes, food, and souvenirs, and enjoy Japan!
For our visitors from overseas, we will handle the procedure to have you exempt from paying the consumption tax.
The tax exemption process is handled on the 8th floor Gift Voucher Shop in the New Building.
・Consumption tax is fully refunded.
・We do not charge a fee to handle the tax exemption process.

Foreign currency exchange machine is located on the 1st floor of the New Building.
The following currencies can be converted into Japanese yen.
